The International Symposium on Automotive Tribology has been jointly held by TTRF and Taiho Kogyo since 2016 in order to promote research on tribology, exchange advanced information applicable to automotive technology, and fortify links between industry and academia in this field. Each time this symposium is organized, a different theme related to automotive tribology is explored and dynamic discussions attended by representatives of both industry and academia are held.
