We operate a system under which activities are carried out under the direct purview of top management and under which decisions can be rapidly deployed across our entire corporate group.

Engaging in safety activities

In order to foster a climate of safety in our company, we develop safe human resources and equipment and facilities through a process in which all employees participate.

  1. When it comes to developing safe human resources, we promote activities with importance placed on communications and trust among members based on the concept of what we refer to as “felt” leadership (leadership that inspires).
  2. When it comes to developing safe equipment and facilities, we conduct risk assessments, assign priority ratings, and work on making improvements starting with equipment and facilities that pose the highest level of risk. In addition, we promote the development of equipment and facilities to ensure that no injuries are ever caused to employees by looking at potential threats from their perspective and taking ease-of-use and safety into account.

Health promotion initiatives

In promoting physical health, we provide physical and mental health education to our younger employees to get them to learn proper lifestyle habits and to our middle-aged employees to get them to learn how to prevent their muscles and other parts of their bodies from functionally declining as they age.

In promoting mental health, we provide education on mental self-care to our younger employees and education on mental health care training (attentive listening) and psychological consultation sessions hosted by certified psychologists to our senior employees for early discovery, intervention, and treatment concerning mental health.

External award

We were conferred the Excellent Health and Productivity Managing Corporation Award in 2023. We will further develop an environment and system that allow our employees to work amenably and work to maintain and promote physical and mental health. In recognition of the participation of our employees in initiatives for the promotion of health and the attainment of the goals of activities undertaken by the company in this area, we received the Award for Excellence in Initiatives from the Health Insurance Association in successive years beginning in 2015.
